Who is need of some new recipes for your Thanksgiving table this year? This Thanksgiving Recipe Roundup includes a few favorite recipes from the Bakers here on the Collective that we share with our families on Thanksgiving. And we are sharing them with you!
Thanksgiving is a time for family to gather and food to be shared. While we are all about traditions, sometimes switching up the menu can be a welcome surprise! Instead of making the same recipes year after year, why not introduce a couple of new ones?
Pumpkin Crackers and Hummus
Let’s start off with a starter, of course! Appetizers are a great idea for holiday meals because your guests can nibble while you put the finishing touches on dinner. Why not serve up Sally’s Pumpkin Crackers and Hummus before the main event?
Most pumpkin recipes out there tend to be sweet but this savory one is surprisingly tasty! Cutting the crackers with a pumpkin cutter isn’t absolutely necessary but adds a bit of whimsy.

Candied nuts are quick, easy and can be used in so many ways! Make a large batch of Bianca’s Candied Pecans (or other nuts!) and store them in an airtight container. Add some to your appetizer platter for guests to munch on. Crush them up and add them to the topping of your Sweet Potato Casserole. Use them to top a salad or spicy green beans. The possibilities are endless!
Candied nuts also make a great gift! Pop some into a jar, add a ribbon and you have a gift that your friends and family will love!

Rolls are often the first thing guests grab for and they are always the first thing gone at most Thanksgiving tables. Helen’s Cornmeal Rolls won’t be any different!
Lightly sweetened with honey and flavored with fresh rosemary, these rolls will compliment the centerpiece turkey as well as the stuffing, potatoes and other sides. Mix them up and let them rise while preparing the rest of the meal and you’ll have hot, fresh rolls out of the oven just in time for dinner.
These Cornmeal Rolls are mandatory at any Thanksgiving table – and even more crucial the next day when they make a stellar turkey sandwich!

Marissa has loaded these Turkey Pot Pie’s with leftover turkey, carrots, leeks, peas and onions but feel free to mix it up! This is a use-what-you-have kind of recipe! The flaky pastry makes these hand pies a great alternative to the usual turkey sandwich!

Black Sesame Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Pie is great but Dana’s Black Sesame Pumpkin Pie takes the typical pie to new heights! Surprise your family and friends with this updated version for dessert.
The spiced pumpkin filling is nestled into flaky black sesame pie crust for the perfect upgrade to a traditional crust. The slight nuttiness of the black sesame enhances the creamy spiced custard for the perfect ending to your Thanksgiving meal!
Up your game with Dana’s pretty leaf decoration around the edge of the crust. The leaves are so simple to make and turn your pie into a centerpiece!
